We the Residents of Springfield Farms & Mason Neck request that the Board of Zoning Appeals DENY SP 2017-MV-088 (Wat Lao Virginia, Inc.).

1)  The establishment of a Business entity in the Residential neighborhood of Springfield Farms is not consistent with General Standard 7 (Sect. 8-006) because such would NOT "provide for adequate utility, septic, water runoff, traffic, parking and noise". 

2)  The establishment of a Business entity in the residential neighborhood of Springfield Farms is not consistent with the Fairfax County Comprehensive Plan for the Lower Potomac Planning District because such would NOT "Preserve stable residential area through infill development of a character and intensity or density that is compatible with existing residential uses (F.C. Comp Plan Objective #2)".

3)  The establishment of a Business entity in the residential neighborhood of Springfield Farms is not consistent with the Fairfax County Comprehensive Plan for the Lower Potomac Planning District because such would NOT "Limit commercialization encroachment into residential neighborhoods and establish a clearly defined "edge" between commercial and residential areas. (F.C. Comp Plan Objective #3)".
