The Petawawa Industrial Park which consists of 44 acres of land on Industrial Drive (off Black Bay Road) is zoned General Industrial. Much of this land has been purchased with plans for development.  This land currently consists of trails and green space that is used on a daily basis for local residents for recreational purposes such as walking, hiking, biking and other forms of general recreation.  This development plan will see this land removed from the residents for industrial development with no plan to maintain or create other recreational green space for which our town is known for. 

Sign this petition to let town council know that you wish to maintain recreational green space as our town grows. Petawawa is a great place to live and raise a family. Let’s keep it that way by including recreational green space.
