Indonesia's Minister for Forestry and Minister for Tourism: Facilitate the rehabilitation and release of Indonesia’s captive dolphins.
Captive dolphins of Indonesia
Feb 27, 2013 — Hello all. We are less than 24 hours into our petition and almost 500 signatures strong! Thank you all so much for lending your voice - each of you can make a difference.
We still await positive news regarding the two bottlenoses Made and Wayan who were snatched in an eleventh hour bid to prevent their ageed upon handover to Jakarta Animal Aid Network (JAAN) and Dolphin Project.
More importantly we need to deliver a clear message to the Indonesian Minister of Forestry to honour the agreements that have been forged, in order to ensure a planned program of retrieval, rehabilitation and release of captive dolphins can occur without tampering and delays.
Let's keep the pace up in order to present our petition to Indonesian authorities as soon as possible.
Thank you all on behalf of Indonesia's dolphins - Let's roll.
