This petition relates to the INDISCRIMINATE BLACK OLIVE TREE REMOVAL PROGRAM IN MIAMI LAKES.

The permitting process includes the REMOVAL OF OVER 3,000 TREES in a way that MAKES OUR TOWN LOOK BARREN. The canopy of 40-year-old trees cannot be replaced in a decade or two.

By signing below, you will send a message to the town of Miami Lakes, that they carefully review the tree removal permit approval process, that DESTROYS THE TREE CANOPY IN MIAMI LAKES.

Although this program was probably well intentioned at its inception, it is now in an EXPEDITED PHASE.

By signing this petition, we are ALSO requesting the town to prioritize, INSTEAD, the replacement of trees in critical areas where they are missing, so our properties retain their beauty and value.
