Currently across the country, countless artists are trying to build new paths, ones that can help them spread word of their talent. But sometimes, these paths require a stronger foundation. Something that can help them withstand all the challenges posed during these trying times. And among the many artists, all trying to carve out a unique space for their work - Independent musicians are still trying to craft their new path. 

So, how does one discover an Independent artist? Through word of mouth perhaps? If you're deeply entrenched in the local music scene? Through the occasional Youtube rabbit hole? The probability of the masses falling under any of these umbrellas isn't exactly high. And yet, there's one more umbrella that exists. A wider, more accessible one. It is - FM radio stations. 

But why aren't Independent artists played out ON-AIR?

Due to the different music policies across a number of FM stations, they oscillate between playing just international artists or strictly songs from films. By exploring just one avenue of the music landscape, this denies countless Independent artists the chance to stand under the spotlight. 

These up and coming musicians are simply brimming with talent and revolutionary ideas. And all they're looking for is a platform, a path. So, my petition is to IndigoMusic.com. To solve this problem, can you play music from more Independent artists ON-AIR?
