As everyone knows by now, there is a massive system moving towards Bloomington, IN. causing numerous weather warnings. After a day full of rain (2/2) and the freezing temperatures projected to come in tomorrow, the IU student body is concerned about travel to and from classes on Thursday (2/3). The likelihood of black ice forming and putting the lives of the student body, falculty, and bus drivers in danger is high, and it simply can be avoided by cancelling in-person classes and activities on the campus. The infrastructure for remote learning is already in place and all students are familiar with it. Please require classes to be cancelled or switched to remote learning for the safety of our well-being.
