My name is Katlynne Pizer. I’m apart of a group of teens that are trying to cut back the rates of teen suicides by the year 2025! I believe that mental health classes should be required in Indiana schools! Mental health is just as important as physical health! Many kids  are to afraid to talk to family members or people in general about there mental health because of fear of what they will say. Often therapists or counselors don’t give the complete help or information that the kids need. In schools mental health is just a topic. A topic that’s explained for 1-2 weeks. Mental health should be a on going topic. Many kids need to know the importance of mental health and how it effects other people even if they don’t suffer from poor mental health themselves. I really do think mental health classes being required would definitely  help kids and the rates of suicide. Thank you.
