The recreational use of cannabis is something that should be considered. I have worked in healthcare and experienced the use of prescription drugs. Sometimes they work; sometimes they do not work. While I am not a regular cannabis user, I do fully support the legalization of it. I have witnessed individuals trying to cope with the struggles of life and responsibilities while on prescription drugs. Sometimes the medicines work and sometimes they stop working. From personal experience, I needed a medicine that would keep me focused and able to concentrate throughout the day. No prescription medication that I have tried in the past fifteen years has made a difference. I have went on one prescription to the next. At this point I have been looking and researching for all the latest prescription drug medicines that might help. It has come to a point where I'm willing to "experiment" with anything (with no health risks) to alleviate symptoms Although my predispositions are just hypertension and concentration, there are individuals out there that struggle with other disabilities. I believe that they deserve the opportunity to find a solution, whether prescription medication or cannabis, to help with their ailments. While Cannabis may not be the cure for my concentration and hypertension, I do fully support those who are in need of it for their ailments.
