Why Indian Railways cancelled their Rail services while all the job sectors resumed
Why this petition matters

I saw a notification saying that in the wake of pandemic, regular trains cancelled until 12 August, only special trains to continue. Can the epidemic spread be solved by simply shutting down train services where highways, job sectors, temples are open? I posted this petition related to this issue.
Indian Railways cancelled their Rail services while all the job sector resumed their working hours. People are getting trouble to get to their workplace without Rail Service and they have to pay a huge amount compared to train tickets which is very difficult for those who earned 10000 INR in a month. Private sector does not give any compensation to its workers in this pandemic period, extra they have created pressure on its workers that if they are unable to get in, they would be laid off from their job. I know someone in my area who rides a bicycle to reach his workplace in Konnagar which is 28 km from his house. Since he has cycled 28 km, so he often late to arrive his workplace on time therefore his Boss told him that his working hours can be 8 hours instead of 10 hours but some percentage of his salary will be cut off. But this proposal is not suitable for a man who earned 10000 to 12000 INR in a month. Government buses do not have sufficient seats to take the all passengers as Government buses have limited seats for maintaining social distancing. So people have to take the private buses to reach in their work place on time but social distancing is very hard to maintain in the private buses because private buses do not follow limited number of seats to maintain social distance. If one want to keep safe himself from this gathering then he would not reach his destination on time for the insufficient number of Government buses. The government has canceled all its regular trains to deal with the current spread rate of COVID-19 cases, so people are compelled to get on the bus without train service even though the bus fills up its total number of seats and it increase the spread rate of COVID-19. If local trains were turned on then the passengers gathering on buses could be reduced and public can get rid out of this trouble besides it the spread rate of COVID-19 can be controlled.
