Schools in the Indian Prairie School District are not recycling. The blue bins stay in every classroom, but get dumped in the dumpster sitting behind our school anyway. Its interesting to see the hypocrisy of what we are being taught but not modeled. Schools need to do what they teach in order for the students to do the same thing. I see the recycling trucks in my own neighborhood, so whats the issue with getting these trucks to the schools, too. The disappointment is disturbing and students choose to recycle everyday, the bins do get filled but not emptied in the right dumpster. Practice What You Preach!!!
