Hathras Rape & Murder case:

We failed as a nation once again. We again proved that there is difference in our saying & doing. We worship forms of goddess but our daughters sisters still being raped in our society. We have a rich heritage & we always talk proudly about our sanskars. But cases like hathras prove that SANSKAR is only to talk about & not to be practiced.

We failed as parents bcoz we don't teach our boys what it means to respect a woman but we only teach our daughters to keep quiet.

We failed as a society bcoz  we don't bother if a girl is raped & murdered. Govt & police will c what to do. We will not demand CBI action bcoz that girl is not known to us.

We failed once again in all aspects of a society where a girl a woman can feel safe.

The only option left is to make our girls independent in self defence to fight with anyone who even dares or attempts to rape.

I BELIEVE THAT SELF DEFENCE EDUCATION FOR GIRLS SHOULD BE MANDATORY SYLLABUS IN ALL SCHOOLS TILL 10TH CLASS. Let's NAB the problem before it arises.
