According to the Times of India oct 11 2017 report,India is now home to the world's largest number of blind people. Of the 37 million people across the globe who are blind, over 15 million are from India. It is hard for most of the visually impaired population to survive in today’s world without someone to help them.Making braille script compulsory in everyday products like toiletries, canned food, first aid etc is going to help this population in so many different ways. Having braille scripts on the products will reduce confusions for them and also getting braille inscriptions on products is not a very difficult process for the manufacturing companies. A few companies have already started using braille on their products but that’s not enough. This is also going to encourage more people to learn the braille scripts.

(Braille is a tactile writing system used by people who are visually impaired. It is traditionally written with embossed paper.)

Being able to pick out things by themselves is going to make the visually impaired population more confident and independent to an extend.

They deserve to pick out things by themselves and use it with full confidence and we need to help them win this petition.

Lets sign this petition and make life better for our everyone in this country.
