College is forcing students to choose between education and hijab.It is women's right to wear what she want to wear.This right is guaranteed by Indian constitution.

All muslims in India are governed by the Muslim personal law(Shariat Application act)1937.This law clearly protects the right of the Muslim women to wear burqa or hijab.

Wearing of hijab by Muslim students is protected by the fundamental right to practice one religion under article 19 and 25 .Thus any uniform code issued by the state government will not stand if students claim their fundamental right.

There shouldn't be a problem of wearing hijab as long as students are wearing uniform along with it.

Are we a secular India? Is this is same education centres who taught us unity in diversity?
