Cheaper Rates of DMRC Again
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
The DMRC has hiked the fares as it has a "huge loan liability" and a rapidly rising operating ratio. If it was just about loan, why keep the rates constant for 7 years but increase them substantially in a single year. There is an immediate need to maintain a balance between the operational needs of the metro and the interests of the commuters. Perhaps this hike is decided by those who travel continuously in their AC cars. The first hike reduced the number of daily commuters by 2 lakhs. If metro ridership was coming down then its entire purpose to bring down use of private vehicles is lost. Let us come together and sign this petition to make the government hear our grievances.
