On the upcoming women’s day, we don’t want flowers, we don’t want gifts, we want basic human rights.

In India today there is not equal access to clean toilets and washrooms for females especially in corporate and government buildings. In most cases, female toilets and washrooms are not given proper maintenance and are often times even dangerous to use.

90% of women in india are afraid of using public toilets for fear of implications on their health from how unhygienic the toilets and washrooms are.

The basic necessities of women are not taken into account which is a basic issue that affects too many people not to be addressed. This is why it’s important to spread awareness of this problem to people that can do something about it.
