The Borough of Riverdale is applying for a 'Congressional Community Project Funding Request' in the amount of $519,000.00 for the Independence Park Baseball/Softball Fields Lighting Project through the 'Economic Development Initiative Program' of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to U.S. Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill's Office. The Borough of Riverdale is seeking petitions of support from our community and project stakeholders to increase the Borough's chances of receiving this federal funding. By signing this petition, you agree that field lighting would be of significant benefit to the Borough and the field users, allowing for increased playing time for our youth of Riverdale and Pompton Lakes. This project will also allow for live streaming of games and activities.
