The asylum seekers living in the AZC locations in the Netherlands experience poor living conditions which are closer to modern concentration camps. Many of them came to the Netherlands dreaming of a fair life having the different basic human needs and rights, but they turned to be somehow prisoners having less than the acceptable threshold of human rights. The poor living conditions are justified mentioning that AZC locations are for temporary stay, but in many cases, the asylum seekers live there for 5 years and in some cases they lives there more than 10 yeas! 10 years with very poor facilities, high crime rates, no privacy, bad treatment from some of the officials, limited access to job market (no hope to gain experience or to finance a better life), no education for elderly people, living in 5 m2 per person and experiencing poor health and psychological conditions resulted mainly from the previous concerns. In addition to high level on injustice, no one can have a suitable mentality after living under these conditions all that time.

The attached report mentions the different concerns in details.
