Despite mental illness growing exponentially over the past several years the budget in the UK has been slashed. Figures obtained through a Freedom of Information request showed the budgets for mental health trusts fell by 2% from 2013/14 to 2014/15.
Besides this the number of nurses in the sector fell significantly due to cutbacks and the approximate cost of the loss of these services totalled £600m.
When will the government learn that pressing matters are at hand and suicide is one of the biggest killers in adolescents. Don't let the blood be on your hands.
By signing this you are suggesting that the budget be increased once more for something so important.
