While current fossil fuel sources are available, they are limited and harmful to the environment. The best and cheapest alternative is solar power, and we should transition to it as quickly as possible. While Massachusetts does have a program(called SMART) set up to make switching to solar power more enticing, it only is available to people who are part of certain companies like National Grid, Eversouce, and Unitil. and while that does cover a decent amount of the population, it does not cover enough companies to offer everyone services. By increasing the amount of companies that follow the program the amount of people with solar panels will increase. Help the environment and push for more incentives for solar panels!
