Increase Social Development Income Rates In New Brunswick

The Social Development Income rate has not increased in New Brunswick since April of 2014. The minimum wage has increased as well as the cost of living, such as rent, groceries, gas and especially NB Power, NB Power keeps raising their rates and they have done so several times over the last 3 years, they are also changing to digital meters without home owners consent.
I feel as though if minimum wage and the cost of living keeps increasing then social developments income rate should increase as well. People on Social Assistance have a tighter budget every time the cost of living is increased. This will lead to more poverty and more than 1 in 5 children in New Brunswick live in households struggling to put food on the table, and this rate will only increase if Social Developments Income doesn't increase.. for example the Food Banks....They do not provide meats and very seldomly have fresh fruits and vegetables, they only provide 1L Milk per family and 1 carton of eggs, this only lasts 2-3 days out of 1 month...1 MONTH!
Rent continues to increase and it usually ranges from $650-$2000 with most of the utilities not included! Many people are using most of their Social Assistance check to pay rent and living off of their Child Tax Benefit. (I wont even get started on the Canada Revenue Agency robbing us)
They should also guarantee that no immigrants or refugees should be allowed to get assistance, it should only be accessible to real Canadians!
