Can You See Us Now?: Increase Sex Worker Safety in Vancouver

In 2013 the Vancouver Police Department administered a policy entitled "Sex Work Enforcement Guidelines". While the document initially seemed pro-active in creating safety for sex workers, providing resources, and establishing a healthy relationship, it has been 4 years since any follow up has been made. In the mean time, sex workers have reported to be in more danger and to still have a lack of resources and open, productive relationships with the VPD.
By signing this petition, you are supporting sex workers' safety.
Your signature will send a message to the VPD, calling them out to take more action towards creating a safer and more inclusive city for all bodies. This is an opportunity to end stigma, educate the public and make people safe.
