Rideshare drivers in the USA who drive for UBER and LYFT, cover all expenses for driving. A major expense is GAS.
Due to high gas prices; it has become increasingly expensive to drive for these companies, since gas costs affects drivers earnings.
UBER and LYFT have the power to change this, and should consider setting rideshare prices to match current gas prices , just like other businesses do.
Drivers cannot control pricing, but UBER and LYFT CAN. Making price changes would help ensure that drivers are making enough to earn a living as costs of living increase.
If changes are not done, drivers will continue to suffer in silence while UBER and LYFT enjoy profits made through their driver's losses.
