Apply Strict Laws for Architecture and Increase Pay For Architects

Apply Strict Laws for Architecture and Increase Pay For Architects
Why this petition matters
Architecture, being a 5 year degree with huge amount of fees, endless hard work, multiple submissions, internships and still the minimum salary for a fresher Architect is not more than Rs 20k considering even the metropolitan cities in India.
We understand the the COA can't completely decide what firms pay their employees but what help we expect is that the COA forms a strict law that states only an Architect can do an Architect's role, and client that approach non-Architects for designing and construction should be illegal. This would help Architectural firms get more projects and they won't have to compromise on reducing the fees they charge considering that the project might be given to some non-Architect doing the job at even 50% less amount. This would indirectly help employees get a better pay. We also understand that the change can't be done in a day or week.
Requesting all Architects and Architecture Students to sign this petition so that we together as a community can approach The Council of Architecture to apply a strict law and decide a minimum pay scale for Architects and bring better times for all.
Please note that we are not against any body or the Council. This request is just to help Architecture community and the problems they face, and COA being the governing body has more authority to help individual.
