With the ridiculously high fuel costs, 45p per mile, is not enough.  This needs to be increased to encourage drivers to volunteer and use their own cars.  It also supports those in industries badly hit with the fuel crisis. 

Mileage allowance has not changed in 12 years!!! Fuel prices have!!!
