Increase GDP percent invested on Research and Development in India

This petition had 9 supporters

I was looking over the internet about the amount of GDP spent on "Research & Development" and I was shocked to see it is .86% of overall GDP that is invested on "Research & Development" and India is way below whereas

China invests 2.05% of total GDP on Research and Development

Denmark invests 3.08% of total GDP on Research and Development

Finland invests 3.15% of total GDP on Research and Development

France invests 2.26% of total GDP on Research and Development

Germany invests 2.14% of total GDP on Research and Development

Japan invests 3.58% of total GDP on Research and Development

European Union invests 2.04% of total GDP on Research and Development

United States invests 2.44% of total GDP on Research and Development

Further, it can be found on internet India is way below on list of countries for percentage of GDP invested on "Research & Development"

India is a developing country and it has a lot of scopes, but Indians are working for foreign countries in making them rich and successful because of fewer funds being invested in "Research & Development" so it is important to increase the value of GDP being invested on "Research & Development" so power up the backbone of India and it at least should be 2% of overall GDP of the country. This will in return make the country stronger in future and strengthen the GDP by increasing the development and production in India. So I request you all to support this petition and make the goal successful.

This will open more opportunities for jobs in future and will be beneficial for future citizens and us.
