In the last couple of weeks, a pedestrian was run down and killed on the sidewalk.  A teenage girl was run over by a hit and run driver who blew through a stop sign.  Many more incidents like this, as well as countless near-misses, have occurred. A brief perusal of the West Hartford Facebook groups confirms this. I have personally witnessed many incidents like this while traveling through town on foot, on bicycle, and in an automobile. Yet nothing seems to be done, and reckless drivers continue to operate with impunity. Please, West Hartford Police Department, something has to be done, as the situation seems to be getting worse, not better.  Please increase enforcement for traffic violations, so that we can prevent more tragedies going forward.
