Why this petition matters

Should education be a privilege or a right in Nigeria? Aren’t you tired of incessant ASUU strike? Don’t you think students should have a locu standi to demand quality facilities and education in our schools?

It is high time Nigeria lawmakers amended the 1999 Constitution to include right to education as part of Fundamental Human Rights entrenched in Chapter IV of our Constitution.

Having such a right will keep government on its toes to do the needful, give required budgetary allocations and provide the essentials needed to improve education in our clime.

Every Nigerian will also enjoy education as of right and once such a right is breached either by the government or ASUU, they can ventilate their disappointment in Court.
