To,

The h'ble Minister for health & family welfare minister. Govt. Of India.

Regarding Loopholes in newly formulated NMC act.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Greetings of the day. Well I am addressing a subject which has been making rounds for a while now.

The NMC Bill now an act. Having gone through it in detail and following it up makes me right this petition & I do solicit your gracious support in reaching out to our law makers, as. Well as our masses. There was lot of opposition to stall it but its on the board now.

I do welcome many provisions compared to the KMC act 1956. The new act says it will be a nonelected body of 25 persons mainly to regulate the function of the body and state medical councils as well.

They would form committes to streamline UG addmissions into private medical colleges.

One time Licenciate exam for freshers to practice . In addition appealeate bodies, ethics committee. You can please find all the details in the link provided.

But what baffles is the BRIDGE Course being offered to AYUSH doctors and even paramedical staff.

I fail to comprehend wat kind of a move is this, we Allopathic doctors don't have any enimosity against them. Will 6 months of Bridge course replace a specialist for a day.

India's reputation as being on par with West, and a medical tourism hub will be wiped out.

There is already lot of unchecked quackery this is like legalizing it. I would openly question wat what do AYUSH docs, paramedics know about modern medicine?  where in a doc  is trained a minimum of 5&1/2 yrs. and more(8-12) forgetting one's own personal life, Before he/she gets the official license. In case of any eventuality who is to be held responsible? Can this BRIDGE course train them with very basic emergency surgery ? This hilarious idea of Central govt has to be rethought & scrapped immediately.

Dear fellow doctors, teachers students, contemporaries, friends/people across all faculties, kindly sign the petition.

Thank you every sign matters

Regards,

Dr Manjunath AB
