Umar Saif is a Pakistani computer scientist and academic. He's a LUMS graduate, later a PhD from University of Cambridge and postdoc from MIT. He has been the vice-chancellor of the Information Technology University since January 2013 and served as chairman of the Punjab Information Technology Board from November 2011 till now as he has been removed from both of his posts by government.
He left his job at MIT to serve his country. His work at
