There is an increase in sifarish and bribery trends in the health sector in Pakistan especially twin cities since the last decade. No one is willing to solve the issue. Medical officers' seats have been sold for up to 4 to 5 lac in twin cities. RHC and BHU jobs are a necessity for young doctors to get admission in specialization and this clerk culture is well aware of their need and taking full advantage. poor young doctors are forced to work in the private sector run by nonmedical personnel with tough duties and minimal pay.  Poor Young graduates are not able to find seats in government hospitals as its just on basis of higher links and contacts. There is no set merit.

All of this hustle is a huge stressor for young government graduates who cant afford to pay huge amounts for seats to the corrupt system. I emphasize that strict action must be taken by the government of Pakistan against injustice and fair distribution of seats. this issue is bigger than it seems. it's just the tip of the iceberg.
