How long has it been? We are already waiting like forever before the picture appears, before the video starts to play and before a website to open. Aren't all of these are irritating? Not unless you are fond of waiting. Kidding aside, Philippines has the worst internet connection in the whole ASIA and ASEAN, like a turtle and like a sloth that moves very, very, very slow! Isn't it Philippines is entitled as the World's Social Networking Capital? Wow, just wow, we are entitled like this but the speed of internet connection in the Philippines is just so slow.

Internet has a significant role in the lives of every Filipino. We are using it everyday. Researches for students, office works and purposes for different employees and most specially we use it as a tool of communication to reach out the people we love that are far away from us. Isn't Internet vital to all Filipinos?

We are searching, we are playing and we are communicating thru internet, indeed it is very vital for us, but do we really deserve this kind of internet connection? Sometimes because of slow internet connection, we don't have a choice but not to use the internet, but what if you are in an urgent situation? You really need something so important like your life is at stake and you can only get that really important thing in the internet. And to your greatest bad luck, the internet is really slow, what to do? Yeah. You cannot do something about it. We don't have a choice but to give up. With the rate of speed of internet connection in the Philippines, you'll just gonna scratch your head and will blow a heavy sigh.

We as a student, we are petitioning this because we want a better and faster internet connection here in our country. Internet really affects how we study, there are positive and negative effects of it but most of us uses internet to search and to gather information or in other terms for educational purposes, but how can we maximize the use of internet and computer if the connection is just really slow, yet people paid too much for the bill, this needs an action, we need faster internet. I know our country, the Philippines has the capacity to make our internet connection faster. Please, just please, we are already tired, tired of waiting for fast internet connection. We don't want to wait forever, make it happen, make it fast because that's what we deserve. That's what the Philippines deserve.
