- The water quality at Oakland Tech has always been a problem throughout the years. Many of the water fountains at Oakland Tech are not only in accessible around the school, but also have a distinct taste that doesn't sit well with many of the students. Many students are scared to even drink out of the water fountains as many believe it is a safety hazard. We want to have more accessible filtration systems around the school and less disgusting and old water fountains. Even if we don't get what we want, we would still like to raise awareness to not only administrators at Oakland Tech, but also to other schools all around Oakland.
