In light of recent events, I am sure many students all over the country are scared. Michigan students particularly, as the recent event occurred in their home state. Traverse City Central High School has some adequate safety precautions in place, like boots for every door to be locked into the ground. However, there are large windows adjacent to every classroom door that do not provide appropriate security for students and staff. If these windows were to be broken, anyone could fit their entire upper body through, if not just climb through completely. This would put many people in danger in the event of an emergency situation. Sign this petition if you think these windows need to be modified in some way to ensure the safety of students.
