Greetings,

It is increasingly clear that we need a thorough review and updates to the mental health benefits and best practices that impact children, more specifically trafficking and school shooting survivors.  Round panel discussions need to be complete by government officials and experts to ensure thorough non-biased reccomendations are made for this policy.  Extending benefits to include more appropriate acute and long term care including more coverage for treatments and counseling is imperative.

Additional policy and guidelines need to be considered for large media outlets / social media and the proven concept that children get fixated on viral videos of themselves which exacerbates PTSD symptoms resulting in debilitating symptoms.  If the media are to interview and record children in active mental trauma - parents, reporters and school officials need to be aware of the consequences of that child having access to interview footage down the road.   Reporters and members of the media who are around these children and their families should be required by law to have education on how media impacts shooting survivors  and appropriate interviewing techniques.

Below are articles with the evidence which can serve as a foundation for this policy.  My research into the issues is ongoing.  Thank you for your time and consideration.
