We all dread the line at the Post Office but over the past couple of years, the line at the Crested Butte Post Office has become absolutely unacceptable. There has been speculation as to why the USPS does not offer home delivery and this issue was touched on in a Memorandum from the Crested Butte Town Manager on 01/28/2021. 

Since then, the lines continue to get longer with wait times often in excess of an hour for counter service. The issue is no longer just the "holiday season" but an everyday problem.

It is time we as a community speak up and take action. We need better mail delivery in Crested Butte and the north end of the valley. Home mail delivery would be a step in the right direction. Our community members need to be able to receive their mail in a timely manner. Please sign this petition and make your voice heard!
