Improve Indian Peaks Trl Landscaping and Reserve Fund
Why this petition matters
Hello Neighbors,
(Signing does not require any of your contact info. Also, ignore any solicitations for $$. We used a 'free' petition site and they try to get you to donate or buy things. Again, just ignore those.)
We live in one of the premier communities in the region. However, over the last few years we've seen a degradation in the maintenance of the landscaping along Indian Peaks Trail. The shrubbery and groundcover has been poorly maintained and indefinite plans to improve it are projected to start in 2023. Yikes!
Also, the money to do this is not available. The Master Association reserve funds, those that are earmarked for long-term maintenance, are at ~40% or the 60-70% recommended level.
We love our community and want it to be everything it was planned to be when we first chose to live here. If you feel the same, we're asking you to consider adding your name to this simple petition to achieve two things:
1. Indian Peaks Trail is not being maintained to standard - Get a plan in place and bring it up to standard quickly.
2. The Master Association reserve fund is underfunded - Get a plan in place and execute it so the reserve fund is brought to the recommended funding level within a reasonable time frame.
For this to happen, a lot of formal procedure has to take place. Thankfully, the IP2 HOA board is taking a leadership position on this. This petition will help them gauge just how many residents support an initiative to get these two issues corrected.
If you support correcting these issues, please add your name to this petition. Don't worry, you are not 'voting for' or committing to anything by signing this. In the event a solution takes more money, you will get to vote on any proposals.
Twenty eight neighbors have already singed this petition today in person. If you are one of those people, please don't sign this online petition. If you haven't signed it, please consider signing it right now.
Thank you for your time and initiative. And thank you for being the great neighbors that make Indian Peaks the wonderful community we love.
(Again, ignore any solicitations or donation requests.)
