Marrige is the union of love and a happy family is definition of it. Be it your spouse or your children or your siblings, keeping loved ones apart is a cruel thing to do. It has no place in the modern society.

The current visa processing time for marrige based visa for green card holder can be upto 36.5 months and for us citizen upto 13 months. It is easier to come to USA in tourist visa and stay here illegally than to go through legal process of applying for immigration visa. This incourages illigal immigration and has to stop.

Also, when the family member not on this country(which they will be eventually) they are not contributing to the society and not paying taxes. I suggest we shorten the visa processing time to 6months and use the first 2 years of taxes that the immigrants would not have paid if they were not here to fund the USCIS to improve visa processing time.
