Implement Tornado / Emergency Sirens in Lee County, Florida

From 1953 to 2011 there have been 113 recorded tornadoes based on the statistics found at These tornadoes injured 30 residents. As we all know, tornadoes can leave neighborhoods and cities devastated. These tornado sirens would give all residents the advantage of knowing a tornado is about to hit, whether it is in the day or the middle of the night. One of the most important things in a tornado is having the few seconds to a couple of minutes that these sirens offer citizens to prepare for impact. This can prevent life threatening injuries and fatalities. Please, for the safety of all of the citizens of Lee county, FL, install Emergency/Tornado sirens.
