Do you support adding a compost bin for student use to the Rise and Rooted store in the Lommasson Center? 

UM Dining has submitted a proposal to purchase a composting unit, similar to the one recently implemented in the Commons of the UC. However, we need to show student support in order for the proposal to pass. The compost bin would divert solid waste from UM, reducing greenhouse gas emissions from landfills in the process. Plus, the compost generated would be transformed into healthy gardening soil at Garden City Compost.
