Residents of Imperial Point Property Association request that the Board of Directors maintain a strict NO SMOKING policy on clubhouse property, specifically the entire pool area. This ban should apply to all smoking types - cigarettes, cigars, and vaping. This NO SMOKING policy should be a permanent ban not subject to repeal in the future. 

Note the effects of secondhand smoke, including vaping, have been well documented for decades by the Surgeon General, the CDC, and the State of Florida. Only 14.5% of all people in Florida smoke and we can assume that statistic also applies to our Imperial Point community.

Of all the HOA/POA's that RPM manages (over 40), we are the only one that allows smoking anywhere. It's the duty of the Board of Directors and everyone in the community to provide a safe environment for all of our members and family members. It's time to do the right thing and make sure smoking of any kind is not permitted.
