I'm signing my name because I have been waiting for the completion of this incredible project for at least 5 years. This is one of the finest places at the Salton Sea. To drive down that road with birds on both sides and then out to where you can see the Sea. I am sorry it has not already been completed. I have driven there and then gone on 2 tours and still the project is not completed.

True restoration of Red Hill Bay will benefit the health the people of the Imperial County California, the economy of the entire region, and help preserve the aquatic ecosystem that has been essential to the Salton Sea basin for thousands of years. IID should not be allowed to bully the public and other public agencies into accepting the IID vision of replacing the Salton Sea with a dead brine pool surrounded by a wasteland of dry plowed up sediment just to minimize their costs while they reap over $200 million a year in revenue by selling off the water that once sustained the Salton Sea and the agricultural economy.
