I am petitioning to allow  the main work permit holder on the Isle of Man in a family to cover the entire family (WIFE , HUSBAND, PARTNER , AND STUDENT AGE CHILDREN) and thus freeing up a lot of administration and easing the labour force availability,Please support this petition.

The entire British Isles is experiencing work force and labour shortages.The Isle OF Man is no exception and the double hurdle of a WORK PERMIT up and above immigration permit to all who have not been schooled , lived on the Island for 5 years nor born off MANX parents are subject to this permit in order to do any form of work on Island for a permanent basis.Sectors are hard hit and crying out for extra workers as their businesses expand post Covid.

You could soon see businesses closing and supply chains  failing if the situation is not rectified speedily and with pre-thought of developments happening as seen on Television and the news.Without a guarantee of a job how can prospective employees take the chance to come over to the Island?.Employers are realizing the catch 22 situation and have to think twice of whether they might have staff or not.
