I don't those opposing 'hate speech against women' raisning a petition to get GWAR's visas revoked. Tony Abbott beheading aside, they've, in their frontman's own words "And what about the poor Queen? We chopped her tits off and stomped the royal baby to death...". And let's not forget Eminem is touring. No whinging about his 'misogyny'. Seems Snoop is the only one not OK with these whingers (and given their past campaigns, they only have a problem with 'sexist' black guys). What is being asked for by this group to ban Snoop from Australia, is little more than a campaign against one guy whoa has in the past said things that offended one insignificant section of society. That alone is not strong enough reason to ban an entertainer from performing. Either you abhor all kinds of hate and violence, or you don't. You can't say "I don't like the so-called 'hate' one person has uttered, so ban them so they can entertain others who don't share my worldview. Personally, I don't need one more 'concerned citizen/thought police-man' pleading the case for a nanny-state that dictates to me what is and is not correct, appropriate thoughts.

I believe he actually is a good role model and he does alot of good back home. He has never attracted bad press here and it seems people always hit for the highest in that genre and is not fair. Leave him alone

I saw Snoop Dogg at Rob Laver Arena a few years back in front of a crowd about 20,000 people. We watched him on stage waving the Australian flag and bouncing around to the song 'Jump Around'. Myself along with everyone in attendance had a great time at the concert and after it finished I went home to bed while others went to clubs/pubs for a drink and partied away. The surprising part...No one was shot, murdered or raped that night.

I oppose Collective Shout and I oppose Radical Feminism's attempts to restrict the freedom of speech and freedom of art. I am not a fan of the artist in question but if you prohibit people from entering the country on the grounds that their words can be "offensive" then you end up subjecting natural liberty to pressure-group veto.
