With news this weekend that WHM’s affected by COVID-19 are eligible to apply for another full year visa until December 2022, Im writing this petition for us that have now passed the age limit. I think this is unfair as people like myself and others have completed our regional work and jumped through hoops to be able to stay and enjoy this beautiful country for longer. Our experience in Australia was affected by Covid, the same as everyone else on a WHV. 

There is a trade agreement with the UK for the age limit to increase to 18-35, however this hasn’t gone through yet. Hopefully if enough of us can sign this petition, us over the age of 30 can apply for the additional visa too.
