Javier and I appeared at the Miramar Office of DHS/ICE this morning. We filed another stay of deportation/removal, a huge package of evidence supporting this request, and thankfully have been granted an extension of 4+ months - until August 30th. So, he does not have to "report" to DHS/ICE during this period of time, and we can await a decision on the collateral requests, petitions, and waivers we have pending - from the West Palm Beach Office of USCIS all the way to the DHS/CBP Office in Washington, D.C. We are very thankful that DHS/ICE granted this extension of time, and we are even more thankful that so many people of taken the time to not only sign this petition, but may phone calls, send e-mails, write letter, and show support in so many other ways in this compelling case. It is an honor and privilege to represent Javier and his family, and to know that there is such strong support in the community.
