For the medical students placed at City and Sandwell hospitals, the morning of the 6th September 2022 started like any other - little did we know that just before 9am, we were about to witness one of the most egregious miscarriages of justice of the 21st century.

At 8:37, Steve was swiftly and brutally removed from the Sandwell WhatsApp groupchat without warning or explanation, and without any due process.

The effect that this action has since had on Steve has been utterly devastating. He is now unable to perform the most basic of activities, like checking what time we need to be in for placement, asking whether we are based in ward D20 or the education centre for the day, as well as many other tasks that are too numerous and tragic to list at this time.

Appeals to reverse this decision have thus far fallen upon deaf ears. We the undersigned seek justice for Steve, and will consider taking our campaign to the highest courts in the lands if necessary.
