It has become very clear that the Acton Agua Dulce Unified School District Superintendent, Dr. Sahakian, Board President, Tim Jorgensen, and Board Members Kelly Jensen and Ken Pfalsgraf do not have the best interest of the students, the parents, the staff, or the community members that stand in unison with them. 

Over 100 people were present at the Board meeting on June 9, 2022 in support of Vasquez Principal, Dr. Murphy. The testimonies, phone calls, petitions, and countless e-mails pleading to keep Dr. Murphy as Principal fell on deaf ears of all those named above and the decision to fire him came with no explanation other than calling it a personnel matter that couldn’t be discussed. It’s apparent that this was personal and politically driven. Especially when Dr. Murphy has 100% of student and staff support and two Board members that were against his termination. 

It’s time for our voices to be heard and for these self-serving individuals to leave these positions. We are tired of history repeating itself. The time for change is NOW. Not at the end of an elected term or contract. Therefore, the students, parents and staff of Vasquez High School hereby call for the IMMEDIATE resignation of Superintendent Sahakian, Board President Jorgensen, and Board Members Jensen and Pfalsgraf.
