Dear Lawmaker,

We all want our children to succeed.  And we know the key to their success is a quality education. 

But in these challenging times, flexibility and options are so often the keys to success. Unfortunately, many families don't have the flexibility and options that they should. 

That's why Illinois families need educational freedom, and it's why I encourage you to promote innovation in education and support legislation that will strengthen our educational options for families and students across the state. 

The one- size- fits- all approach allows too many to fall through the cracks. It does not take into the unique needs of each student or their families. 

As such, we the undersigned citizens and parents of Illinois are calling on you to end blanket mask mandates and segregation of students in our schools. No student should be ostracized for their unique situation or deeply held beliefs, religious or otherwise, that are constitutionally protected. Nor should any family have to choose between receiving a quality education for their child, and compromising their sincerely held, constitutionally protected religious beliefs.  Finally, we should not be creating an environment of segregation by beliefs, or personal life situation, and should instead seek to create an environment that allows for all families and students to act within their rights, freedoms, and unique needs. 

I encourage you to support educational freedom for our families and students in Illinois!

To keep these morals and values of God fearing individuals in place and secure for the freedom of all Americans residing in our one nation under God. For the future of our children we stand for freedom of choice.
