Ameren customers are hurting.  40% increases on electric bills are why people hate utility companies.

As angry customers in the Ameren service territory we demand Ameren Illinois commit to the following actions:

1. Roll back the rates to 2021 rates.  Ameren did NOTHING to foresee, prepare, or stop the 40% hike in rates and yet Ameren reports a $10,000,000 increase in earnings from this quarter to last.  You broke it.  You own it.  You eat the cost.  Your customers demand that Ameren forego any and all increases while customers are paying more.
2.  Work with MISO to triple their efforts to reduce the backlog of solar power that is in the queue waiting to connect to the grid. New solar will lower customer bills and help provide power at peak times when the grid needs it the most.

3. Expand energy efficiency offerings and waive fees for programs that help customers find the best ways to save energy.
