The murder of the Bradley police officer and attempted murder of other officer, was so cold, brutal and Heinous that it deserves to be punished with the death penalty. The only reason it was abolished was because then Governor George Ryan wanted to stay out of prison for the license for bribes scam in which six family members were killed. The majority of people are tired of the evil and want something done about it, and they are sick of being told to be quiet, and that others know what’s best. This should be reserved for the most heinous crimes but it should also not take 20 years to execute someone, because that is where the opponent say it is not a deterrent, of course after 20 years it’s not a deterrent needs to be done swiftly. Illinois needs to start doing some things right,
